Custom 24' Commercial Runabout – Kodiak-Built, Aluminum Hull

This is a rugged and reliable 24-foot custom commercial runabout, originally built in Kodiak, Alaska in 1985 using Edwin plans. Constructed from heavy-duty 3/8-inch aluminum, the boat is exceptionally sturdy and designed to handle tough water conditions with ease. It features a sealed deck with an air void, allowing it to safely carry up to 2,000 lbs of gear or cargo — ideal for commercial use or heavy-duty recreational outings. The boat is in great condition, having spent most of its life stored out of the water and under cover.

Powered by a 2011 Honda outboard engine with just 770 hours, it runs strong and efficiently. The vessel is equipped with twin 50-gallon gas tanks for extended range, a new SeaStar hydraulic steering system, and a dual battery setup. Electronics include a Raymarine chartplotter and sounder, with radar included (not yet installed). A high-output light bar is also mounted for night operations, providing excellent visibility during low-light conditions.

A practical swiveling davit is installed, perfect for pulling pots or long lines, making this boat especially suited for commercial fishing or picking pots.

With a 9-foot beam at the stern, the boat offers excellent stability and deck space. This is a serious aluminum workboat with thoughtful upgrades and solid construction — ready for its next chapter.
